disappointing breakfast spoiling juice
the location was acceptable.
The breakfast was quite disappointing. I ordered simple toast. i received only one slice cut in half, it was presented on a plate with no accompaniments. the grapefruit juice tasted like it was starting to spoil, a detail that should not be overlooked at this price point.

underwhelming toast and accusations
accusatory tone hostile treatment
the hotel is beautiful and was clean.
my family has been loyal guests for years, a fact the staff seemed to ignore. while waiting for someone in a public area, i was approached by staff and security. i was accused of loitering and then escorted out, though i showed proof of a meeting. the accusatory tone and hostile treatment left me embarrassed in front of other guests.

a gem of a stay
every staff member showed such kindness from the entrance onward. the festive decorations filled every room with charm. the bridgerton afternoon tea was exquisite, it offered many delights. i felt welcome and at home.
a piece of toast arrived alone, it was cut strangely on a plate. the grapefruit juice was not very fresh, such a small detail but stood out. it impacted the breakfast service.

the hotel offers easy access to hyde park, it is very close. knightsbridge and mayfair are easily reachable by foot. the location suited me as it's very central, a good spot for my visit.

we arrived this year, and to my delight, the room included a complimentary upgrade. the breakfast menu was nice. i thought the butler service to be great.
i found the grapefruit juice tasted off. only one slice of toast was brought to my room. it was cut in half and on a plate.

The breakfast toast was just one slice cut in half on a plate. That's it!!! grapefruit juice was not fresh and seemed to be turning. i was really unimpressed at this price. i didn't want to cause a scene as i was a guest, but i really wanted to complain.
